Overview

As the Training Associate, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills, performance, and productivity of our employees to meet the company’s operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, coordination, and delivery of training strategies and programs.
  • Provide administrative support in organizing training including scheduling, room set-up equipment, preparation, and communication with participants.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding sessions and ongoing training workshops in English and Spanish.
  • Create and update training materials and manuals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with department leaders to assess training needs and schedule training sessions accordingly.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training, adjusting programs as needed.
  • Maintain records of employee participation and progress.
  • Support the implementation and administration of e-learning platforms or other educational technologies.
  • Participate in creating training budgets and ensuring cost-effective training solutions.
  • Serve as the point person for inquiries related to the operation of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Support talent management initiatives (employee engagement, employee recognition, performance management).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a training role, preferably in the waste management or similar industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Being able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for education and empowering others.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to travel to our different facilities.

Salary Range Minimum

USD $55,000.00/Yr.
