Essential Job Summary:

IWS is seeking a Business System Analyst (BSA) – Workday Adaptive Planning to play a pivotal role in the entirety of the FP&A process. Our organization is in the midst of a transformative initiative involving the implementation and stabilization of Workday, now entering its fourth year. This is both a regulatory-driven endeavor and a cornerstone of our long-term operational strategy. While the Workday environment has been successfully completed, our current focus has shifted to the following priorities: 1) Stabilization and optimization of Workday Adaptive, 2) Addressing and resolving security concerns, and 3) Finalizing integrations and configurations as needed.  As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting these critical efforts and ensuring alignment between business and technical requirements.

Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications.
  • Develop and document comprehensive test plans, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable solutions.
  • Work directly with cross-functional teams to resolve security concerns, optimize system performance, and address outstanding configuration needs.
  • Act as a key communicator, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, including regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Support the organization’s in-house talent strategy by delivering insights and fostering a seamless transition from external partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for Adaptive Planning, including configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations, user set up and optimization.
  • Build and maintain custom matrix reports, office connect reports and dashboards with the ability to create custom calculated fields.
  • Develop and implement auditing procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Establish a framework for resolving configuration issues, providing advanced support for complex issues, identifying root cause, and implementing technical solutions to address issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Workday processes and configuration
  • Oversee Workday’s biannual feature releases, assesses new functionality, and coordinates testing and deployment with key stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Bachler Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or Business Systems Analyst (BSA), with tangible examples of successfully translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
    • Demonstrated expertise in developing and documenting test plans, with specific examples of problem-solving and delivery in high-pressure environments.
    • Recent, hands-on experience Administering Workday Adaptive Planning.
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for technical teams, business users, and C-suite executives.
    • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement, paired with the ability to execute solutions effectively.
    • Strategic thinker with a strong focus on business results.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
    • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to drive change and improvements.
    • Understanding of finance and FP&A, budget and forecasting processes
    • 2+ years of performing the role of a business analyst or system administrator for a FP&A solution

Salary Range Minimum

USD $80,000.00/Yr.

Salary Range Maximum

USD $100,000.00/Yr.
