Essential Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager is responsible for executing recruitment strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent across the organization. This role will lead a team of recruiters and collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and senior leaders to ensure recruitment efforts align with business objectives. In addition to overseeing internal hiring initiatives, the TA Manager will actively engage with external partners—including technical schools, workforce development programs, and transitioning military personnel—to expand talent pipelines and support strategic sourcing efforts. The manager will also be responsible for building and managing internship programs to develop early-career talent and strengthen the organization’s long-term talent pipeline.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and coordinators to drive an efficient, inclusive, and innovative hiring process.
  • Design and implement internship programs that support early talent development and align with long-term workforce planning.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, professional associations, military organizations, and other external entities to enhance talent pipelines.
  • Promote a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the TA team.
  • Partner with business leaders and functional teams to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on recruitment initiatives, hiring metrics, and market insights.
  • Strengthen the employer brand and ensure consistent, engaging candidate experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and deliver training for hiring managers to enhance their participation in the recruitment process.
  • Optimize recruitment tools, technologies, and best practices to improve team performance and candidate outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal communications and marketing to create compelling recruitment materials.
  • Manage relationships with external search firms and vendors as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with expertise in talent attraction, assessment, and selection.
  • Minimum of 3 years prior leadership experience managing direct reports.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing best-in-class sourcing and selection strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing internship programs and external partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead large-scale recruiting initiatives from design to execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Additional Information

IWS’s base pay actually offered takes into account a range of factors including, but not limited to, internal equity, the candidate’s geographic region,  job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.

 

Bonus: This role is bonus eligible as part of the compensation package.

Salary Range Minimum

USD $110,000.00/Yr.

Salary Range Maximum

USD $130,000.00/Yr.
