B-Shift (every other Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat) 7am-7:30pm

Essential Job Summary:

The Gondola Rail Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an articulating rock truck. The role supports daily waste placement. The operation works in a fast-paced outdoor environment and must maintain a high level of safety awareness while coordinating with team members and supervisors.

  • Safely operate an articulating rock truck.
  • Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition, report defects, damage or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Follow designated traffic patterns and maintain awareness of surrounding equipment, personnel, and road conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with team and supervisors via radio to coordinate safe operations.
  • Identify and respond appropriately to unsafe conditions.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance such as fueling, lubricating, and cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and operational activities as required.
  • Support additional operations as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
  • Ability to climb in and out of heavy equipment multiple times per shift.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs if needed.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
  • Ability to work in loud environments with exposure to dust, mud, and outdoor elements.

USD $22.83/Hr.
